Satellite Beach, Fla. (Feb. 5, 2013) – Satcom Direct, provider of satellite voice, fax, datalink and Internet communications solutions, has announced a touring road show of their products, scheduled for various regional locations throughout the United States during June and July of 2013.
The regional road shows will be used to update current Satcom Direct customers on new products and features, including updates on new mobile applications, maintenance training and troubleshooting. The road show will also offer free training for flight departments who utilize Satcom Direct products and services. The current training program includes approximately three hours of classroom-type lecture with two hours of hands-on troubleshooting and live testing.
All hands-on work will take place in the Satcom Direct recreational vehicle mobile lab that will travel across the country. Satcom Direct’s mobile lab is a 40-foot, 2008 Class A Monaco Diplomat Coach, and it will feature services from satellite providers Inmarsat, ViaSat Yonder® and Iridium. Products that will be displayed and demonstrated in the mobile lab include the new SD Router, Inmarsat SB200, ViaSat Yonder and Iridium voice solutions. The Satcom Direct products and services to be featured in the mobile lab include Aero X®, SkyTicket, SkyShield, AeroV®, SD Flight Tracker and FlightDeck 360.

The summer road show is currently scheduled for June and July of 2013, and it includes stops in St Louis and East Alton, Ill.; Wichita, Kan.; Dallas, Texas; Lincoln, Neb.; Teterboro, N.J.; Londonberry, N.H.; Battle Creek, Mich.; Chicago and Waukegan, Ill.; and Minneapolis. The mobile lab will also be present at future tradeshows or events where Satcom Direct is exhibiting.
