Euravia has introduced yet another enhancement to its already extensive Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6 MRO service capabilities, with the addition of the PT6C series engine.
We are pleased to announce that Euravia has received both EASA and FAA approval for the full overhaul of PT6C engines to further complement its existing and internationally renowned PT6A and PT6T production lines, covering over 52 different P&WC PT6 engine types.
The PT6C series was designed to support the growing medium-class helicopter market, including offshore, border control, VIP transport, medical services, maritime patrol, search and rescue and utility operations. The 1,200 and 2,000 shaft horsepower PT6C engines offer durability, simplified flying, cost-effective operations, enhanced maintenance and diagnostics. The PT6C main application is the Agusta Westland AW139 helicopter.

Euravia’s new services include the launch of a dedicated Service Centre to deliver in-house ‘Fast Track’ and on-site ‘Mobile Repair Team’ support for all P&WC PT6 engine types, including the PT6C.

Euravia holds 18 different international airworthiness approvals and has over 150 customers in five continents. Euravia’s customers include both civil and defence organisations in 50 different countries. In 2012 Euravia received the Queen’s award for Enterprise in International Trade (Exports).
Euravia also offers a wide range of Design and Post Design Services including Life Assessment, Reliability Studies, Component Improvement Programmes and the development of advanced aerospace information systems in support of aircraft and helicopters engines.
Euravia (based in Kelbrook, Lancashire, England) has four modern, purpose built facilities which caters for all turbine engine refurbishment, including a fully computerised, state of the art, test cell with automated dynamometer and electrical loading systems.
