Global FBO Showcase Landing at Farnborough in March Alongside Business Jet Interiors World Expo

Jan. 28, 2013
In excess of 150 exhibitors are expected from all over the world at the 2013 event, which will be held in the Farnborough Airshow facilities from 19-21 March.

London Farnborough Airport will once again host Europe’s only major exhibition that is dedicated to showcasing FBOs to an audience of executive jet owners and operators. In excess of 150 exhibitors are expected from all over the world at the 2013 event, which will be held in the Farnborough Airshow facilities from 19-21 March, while some 2,500+ chief pilots, schedulers, brokers, operations directors and CEOs are expected to attend, all hoping to discover new destinations, routes and air partners.

Graham Johnson, show founder and managing director of UKIP Media & Events, the company that organises the event and indeed publishes Business Airport International magazine, said, “The industry really valued the event in Cannes last year, and the exhibitors have been eager to get on-board for the London Farnborough event this year. We’ve also already attracted a great number of brand-new exhibitors, meaning visitors will not only get to meet established partners and learn of their developments, but also get the genuine opportunity to discover new business aviation destinations, routes and partners.”

Johnson continued, “Every single exhibit will be of relevance to every single visitor, meaning executive jet owners and operators and those responsible for scheduling aircraft can visit Business Airport World Expo for a day or two to come away armed with new possibilities to save money, save time or indeed find routes and facilities that can attract more passengers.

“We’re understandably genuinely excited about this 2013 show. We know that London Farnborough is an extremely popular venue for Business Airport World Expo as we launched the event there in 2011 to industry-wide acclaim – we had to open the doors to the show early every day as it was so busy! The venue has fantastic international travel connections, and of course the convenience of its own business airport on-site too!”

Sitting alongside Business Airport World Expo will be Business Jet Interiors World Expo. This event is the international boutique exhibition dedicated to showcasing the very latest in luxury jet and helicopter interior design and technologies to a global community of executive jet owners, operators and completion centres. The bespoke exhibition also features a first-class, free-to-attend conference featuring some of the most respected designers and experts in the business.

Business Airport World Expo will also have the added attraction of the free-to-attend conference which last year was so popular and the content so important, that it was standing room only for much of the three days. (The programme will be released on the Business Airport World Expo web site in December.) Furthermore, Business Airport World Expo will be joined once again by the Business Jet Interiors World Expo, a boutique exhibition showcasing a very limited number of hand-picked executive jet interior suppliers who will be participating by invitation only. Expect around 35-40 exhibits, each showcasing the very finest interior tailoring, designs and technologies that can be touched, smelt and experienced first-hand.

Entrance to Business Airport World Expo and its additional attractions is free, but visitors and press should register online prior to the event at: http://www.businessairportworldexpo.com/press.php
