Baker Aviation Expands Maintenance Hangar Space in Addison, TX

It will move into a third hangar in January 2013, bringing the total turbine aircraft maintenance space to more than 25,400 square feet.

January 3, 2013 – Addison, Texas – Baker Aviation, a full-service aircraft maintenance, management and charter company in North Texas, recently expanded into their second hangar at Addison Airport (KADS) and will move into a third hangar in January 2013, bringing the total turbine aircraft maintenance space to more than 25,400 square feet.

Earlier this year, Baker Aviation Maintenance received its FAA Repair Station certification (FAA CRS# 5BVR011C) and specializes in airframe maintenance for Hawker, King Air, Beechjet, Citation, Learjet, Challenger and Gulfstream aircraft. The Baker Aviation facility in Ft. Worth (KFTW) will accommodate Gulfstream aircraft and other long-range cabin aircraft for maintenance inspections and repair. One of the premier turbine jet repair stations at the Addison Airport, Baker Aviation is prepared to activate evening shifts as work timelines and customer demands dictate.

”Baker has an outstanding technical team, led by Joe Wehrle, who in my opinion is the leading authority of Hawker Aircraft in the country,” stated Raymond Camus, President and Owner of Aircraft Solutions in Shreveport, Louisiana. “These guys are professionals and know these aircraft. We have saved a substantial amount of troubleshooting time and expense by bringing not only our [Hawker] but our Citations as well, to Baker for maintenance. If we can’t get the aircraft to Dallas, they will dispatch their mobile service unit and come to me; and for a lot less than the other guys. Plus if I have an AOG problem, I can simply pick up the phone and call Joe 24/7. I know I can depend on them to get the job done right the first time, on-budget and on-time. We simply can’t ask for more than that,” added Mr. Camus.

Baker Aviation Maintenance also has an Operations office in Addison at the Atlantic Aviation FBO terminal that includes a pilot/technician quiet room, free internet service and additional amenities for Baker’s clients.

“We are quite fortunate and excited to find that our success in 2012 is now driving growth into 2013 and with three hangars at our disposal, we can expect less scheduling conflict combined with a higher degree of diversity,” commented Ray Goyco, Jr., Chief Operating Officer at Baker Aviation Maintenance. “As we pursue greater opportunities, we will effectively brand the Baker Aviation name and provide value to those operators which reside immediately outside the state of Texas. Present discussions with key service providers abroad also find us exploring further growth opportunities. It makes sense for us to collaborate with other aviation businesses that can utilize our maintenance capabilities in order to help support their existing client base,” Goyco added.
