CHERRY VALLEY, IL – Ipsen USA proudly announces that it recently sold its 100th TITAN® vacuum heat treat furnace as its third year in production comes to a close, proving global acceptance of the product line.
The 100th sold milestone was achieved with the recent vertical TITAN sale to Tamayakin Co., Ltd. in Tokyo, Japan. The furnace will be installed by Ipsen Japan and will be used for heat treating Aerospace components.
After developing and producing heat treatment products for over 60 years, Ipsen attributes the TITAN’s success to its ability to meet the needs of a wide-range of heat treatment customers. Though launching a new product line as the market was contracting was a risky move, the idea was to streamline the process to reduce cost and delivery time, while maintaining Ipsen-quality workmanship. The goal was to expand the product’s market and, by also including a collection of the most common options, reach companies that hadn’t considered in-house heat treating in the past due to cost or space limitations.
The TITAN line is reliable and offers the best value without sacrificing functionality and design, living up to the expectation of the Ipsen brand. These furnaces also give customers the option of renting or leasing a furnace to meet ever-changing production demands.
