Galvin Flying Services Adds Citation Xl To Growing Fleet

Dec. 13, 2012

Seattle, WA- Galvin Flying Services, Inc., the largest Part 135 charter operator in the Pacific Northwest, has added a Cessna Citation XL to its charter certificate, complementing the capabilities of its already diverse fleet of aircraft. “This aircraft adds further strength to our midsize category of aircraft, providing unmatched runway performance in its class. With the speed of our Lear 45 and 55B, coupled with short-field performance of the XL, our customers gain capability as well,” noted Skip Moshner, Director of Flight Operations for Galvin Flying
Services.

“The aircraft owner selected Galvin after an exhaustive search amongst other Part 135 operators,” said Douglas Wilson, Director of Business Development for Galvin. Wilson added, “We are pleased to have been chosen to oversee the Citation XL. Part 135 operations are only getting more complex from both a regulatory and tax standpoint, and our aircraft owners have found that trust- in the certificate holder and their people- is still the most important factor in navigating those waters.”

The Citation XL is the only aircraft of its type available for charter in the Greater Northwest including Washington, Oregon and Idaho. Galvin Flying Services’ growing charter and managedaircraft department currently operates a variety of aircraft, including a King Air 200, BeechJet 400a, Lear 45, Lear 55B, Citation XL, Challenger 300, Challenger 604 and a Falcon 2000LX.
