Announced during the second annual LORD Corporation Aerospace & Defense Global Distribution Sales Meeting in Cary, N.C. on Oct. 3-4, Derco Aerospace was announced as the recipient of the first Distributor of the Year Award. The award was based on distributor scorecard results, meeting growth targets, and performance metrics.
Derco Aerospace is a Sikorsky Aircraft Services (SAS) company and a subsidiary of United Technologies Company based in Milwaukee, Wis. They are the worldwide exclusive distributor of spare C-130, P-3 and E-2C engine mounts, vibration control components and respective piece parts worldwide, excluding Japan.
“Derco Aerospace has served as a trusted supply source of LORD vibration control components to customers around the world for the past 20 years. With extensive product knowledge and the ability to process high-volume customer requests, as well as provide an average turnaround time of 48 hours for stocked items to its customers, Derco was the chosen recipient for this award,” said Sue Cermak, Distribution Manager of the LORD Aerospace & Defense Business Unit.
The award was accepted on behalf of Derco Aerospace by Chip Banerjee, OEM Solutions Manager and Ed Sawall, Inventory Management-Procurement Specialist.
