Headquartered in Basel, Switzerland, Bredewold will support European-based clients for the aviation safety, support and compliance company.

Hilton Head, SC--Margriet Bredewold has been named by Baldwin Aviation Safety & Compliance  as the firm’s European representative.  Headquartered in Basel, Switzerland, Ms. Bredewold will support European-based clients for the aviation safety, support and compliance company.

“Margriet has been involved in the business aviation industry since 2007, having previously served as a professional development coordinator and trainer for Jet Aviation AG.  Her experience and expertise in Safety Management Systems (SMS), Human Factors (HF) and Organization Development (OD) training dovetail very well with the programs and services we offer.  Her presence in Basel, which is centrally-located and accessible to customers and prospects, and her ability to communicate in multiple languages, will undoubtedly allow us to expand both our client base and the services we offer on the Continent,” said Don Baldwin, CEO of Baldwin Aviation Safety & Compliance.

Ms. Bredewold is a native of Holland and holds an undergraduate degree (BSc) in business administration from Radbout University in Nijmegen, The Netherlands and a master’s degree (MSc) from Holland’s Wageningen University and Research Center, as well.  Prior to graduation she served as an intern for the United Nations Food and Agricultural Organization in Rome.

She began her professional career at an employment agency in 2005 before moving to the International House in Madrid, Spain as an English language teacher in 2007.  She then spent four years as the Professional Development Coordinator and Trainer at Jet Aviation AG in Basel before founding Co-Guard GmbH to provide training and support in SMS, HF and OD training, including leadership, teamwork, and change and conflict management.

“I was pleased to connect with Baldwin Aviation at the annual European Business Aviation Association Conference and Exhibition (EBACE) and look forward to working with Baldwin’s team to provide outstanding support to European-based flight operations,” Ms. Bredewold said.  A member of a European Aviation Maintenance Training Committee (EAMTC) workgroup and Women in Corporate Aviation (WCA), she is involved in planning the organization’s meeting at EBACE in 2013.
