Flightcom Receives Largest Model E-13ANR Military Aviation Headset Order

Nov. 2, 2012
Ongoing program provides high-performance active noise reduction communication headsets at exceptional value to military

Flightcom, a leader in communication solutions for aviation, today announced that the United States Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) has awarded the largest order to-date for E-13ANR aviation headsets. Widely deployed for use on C-5, KC-135, C 130, and other airframes, the E-13ANR headset is in demand for excellent passive and active noise reduction (ANR), long-wearing comfort, durability, and extra features such as auxiliary inputs and long ANR battery life. The E-13 program has been running for over eight years, supplying superbly engineered and affordable communication products to the military.

“The ongoing success of the Flightcom E-13 program illustrates that high-performance equipment carefully engineered for durability and value is welcomed by the military in these times of budget constraints,” said Tim O’Brien, Flightcom director of sales. “The rugged E-13ANR and its E-13 Passive Noise Reduction cousin are engineered for flight use, with other Flightcom headsets available for use in mobile and other ground applications.”

Beyond flight headsets, Flightcom team communication solutions also deliver clear and secure audio communication for military teams in other challenging environments. Portable wireless headset systems protect hearing and improve effectiveness for aviation ground support personnel performing aircraft movement, deicing, loadmaster, and maintenance operations. Wired and wireless Flightcom headset systems ensure constant full-duplex team communications in and around vehicles on the ground and on boats and ships. All Flightcom communication systems can be easily interfaced to one or more mobile or portable radios for extended communications with other teams and/or command and control centers.
