Comlux America, the US based completion center of Comlux the Aviation Group, has been awarded the maintenance and cabin upgrade contract for two BBJs of The Boeing Company.  The maintenance program includes VIP interior removal and re-fitment with structural modifications, interior refurbishment and also a complete IFE/CMS upgrade. The first aircraft will arrive to Comlux America facility in early 2013 and the second one will arrive that summer.

Comlux America, established since 2008 at Indianapolis International airport has opened a brand new hangar facility during the summer of 2012. The center, fully approved for Completion and Maintenance works on Boeing Business Jets and Airbus Corporate Jets, is one of the very few completion centers in the world to have all shops integrated under the same roof, improving efficiency and productivity of the teams and quality of work.

David Edinger, President and CEO of Comlux America says “We are extremely proud to be selected by The Boeing Company. It was a tough competition and we have managed to demonstrate that our full in-house capabilities - engineering, certification, design, maintenance and production shops- make the difference versus several other centers. My team has already started the engineering and we are looking forward to welcoming the first aircraft in our new facility, early next year”.

Comlux America located in Indianapolis, Indiana is part of Comlux, The Aviation Group, a leading provider of worldwide aviation services that includes aircraft management, VIP charter, aircraft sales and acquisitions, aircraft cabin designs and completions, aircraft engineering services, aircraft maintenance, and avionics design and integration.
