This expands Dallas Airmotive’s PW500 capabilities to provide repair and overhaul services for all seven engine models in the series and makes it the only independent DOF to offer this breadth of service for the PW500 family of engines.

Orlando, Florida…October 29, 2012… Dallas Airmotive, a BBA Aviation Engine Repair and Overhaul (ERO) company, has been appointed a Pratt & Whitney Canada (P&WC) Designated Overhaul Facility (DOF) for its PW535B, PW535E and PW545C engine models. The appointment expands Dallas Airmotive’s PW500 capabilities to provide repair and overhaul services for all seven engine models in the series and makes Dallas Airmotive the only independent DOF to offer this breadth of service for the PW500 family of engines.

“The addition of these three engine models enables us to support the entire spectrum of PW500 operators,” commented Hugh McElroy, President of BBA Aviation Engine Repair and Overhaul Group. “Throughout the life of their engine, PW500 operators can receive rapid and expert response to their MRO needs from Dallas Airmotive.”

Dallas Airmotive received its first PW500 DOF appointment in 2004 for the engine models that power the Cessna Citation line of Bravo, Encore, Excel, and XLS business jets. “This new appointment extends to the PW535B that powers the Citation Encore+ and the PW545C that powers the Citation XLS+. Along with previous DOF appointments for the PW300 and JT15 engines this increases our span to cover the bulk of Cessna Citation series aircraft,” continued McElroy. “The PW535E, powering the Embraer Phenom 300, initiates our first entrée to Embraer business aircraft.”

Dallas Airmotive is exhibiting during NBAA 2012 at BBA Aviation’s Booth #3100.
