ORLANDO, FLORIDA – Expansion of GE Aviation's service network for business and general aviation engines continued this year with the addition of five new authorized service centers — three new service centers for M601 and H80 turboprop engines and two new service centers for CF34-3 engines. This brings GE Aviation’s service network to more than 20 M601 and H80 Authorized Service Centers and more than 20 CF34 Authorized Service Centers.
"For engine manufacturers in business and general aviation, it is critical to have a strong network of service providers around the world to provide immediate support and maintenance for customers," said Brad Mottier, vice president and general manager of GE Aviation’s Business & General Aviation organization. "Several years ago, GE began growing the network and developing relationships with respected engine maintenance providers around the globe to ensure our customers can receive the right level of support no matter where they travel."
CF34 Authorized Service Centers providers include Bombardier, Jet Aviation St. Louis and Duncan Aviation. These providers are approved to perform line maintenance inspections, routine installed engine maintenance, removal and replacement of engines and removal and reinstallation of external engine components as well as provide warranty support and facilitates access to both GE parts and technical support.
For the M601 and H80 engines, GE named Premier Turbines as the Designated Repair Center for North and South America. As a Designated Repair Center, Premier Turbine offers heavy repair services, exchange engines and rentals, line replacement unit (LRU) rotable pools and field service support to M601 and H80 customers.
GE Aviation's M601 and H80 Authorized Service Centers offer comprehensive line maintenance, removals and re-installations of engines and LRUs and engine spares. These Authorized Service Centers include: North America -- Cascade Aircraft Conversions, Cutter Aviation, Sky Tractor Supply Company, Smyrna Air Center and Winnipeg River Aircraft; Europe -- Aeromecanic and Sokol JSC; Africa – AIR-TEC and Orsmond Aviation; Australia -- AG Aero; and South America -- Alagro Fumigaciones, Solo Aviation Systems and TAM Aviacao Executiva.
