Jet Aviation St. Louis Debuts its Interior Configuration and Paint Scheme App at NBAA

Jet Aviation St. Louis has developed an iPad and iPhone app that allows clients to select interior and exterior finishes to better visualize options for their cabin interior and their exterior paint.

St. Louis, MO / October 29, 2012 – Jet Aviation St. Louis has developed an iPad and iPhone app that allows clients to select interior and exterior finishes to better visualize options for their cabin interior and their exterior paint.

The app contains libraries of fabrics, veneers, carpets and other interior items, along with cabin views of Challenger, Falcon, Global and Gulfstream aircraft. When an interior component like a chair or sidewall is selected, a corresponding library of materials appears. Touching the fabric, wood or carpet applies it to the surface selected.

The app also contains exterior side views featuring a wide variety of paint schemes, from simple stripes to complex designs. By selecting a stripe, the client can then change its color. A gallery of completed interiors and paint projects can be viewed from the app as well.

“It’s difficult to visualize what your interior or exterior will look like based on fabric swatches and paint chips,” notes Chuck Krugh, senior vice president and general manager, Jet Aviation St. Louis. “The app helps Jet Aviation’s designers evaluate options with clients, and clients can also use the app to make selections and email us their choices. It’s our objective to use today’s technology to enhance our service to our clients.”

Customers can demo the app at Jet Aviation’s NBAA exhibit, booth number 3797. It will be available in November for iPads and iPhones via download from the Apple app store.
