Melbourne, FL, October 23, 2012 – Embraer Executive Jets will display a complete Legacy 450 cabin and cockpit for the first time at the National Business Aviation Association Convention in Orlando, FL, on October 30-November 1. While the mockup will be at Embraer Executive Jet’s booth at the convention center, the Company’s entire portfolio of in-production business aircraft will be at the static display at Orlando Executive Airport.

The Legacy 450 mockup will be available at the Embraer Stand 5526 for the news media to preview following the Embraer press conference which will be held on October 29 from 2:00 pm to 2:45 pm in Room N22A at the Orlando’s Orange County Convention Center. The mockup will be available from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm.

A public unveiling of the mockup will be held at 10 am at the company’s Stand 5526 the next morning, October 30.

“NBAA is an important show for Embraer Executive Jets which is why we chose to debut the Legacy 450 mockup to emphasize its role as a revolutionary business aircraft,” said Ernest Edwards, President, Embraer Executive Jets. “The Legacy 450 is the only mid-light aircraft with fly-by-wire technology and a six-foot, stand-up cabin with a flat floor. Our participation at NBAA is designed to reflect the advances our aircraft bring to the business aviation market. The fact that this year’s NBAA is in our home state allows us not only to show off our aircraft but our Customer Center and headquarters in nearby Melbourne.”

In addition to the entry-level Phenom 100 and light Phenom 300, the large Legacy 650 and the ultra-large Lineage 1000, Embraer Executive Jets will also be showing a Pre-Flown, super-midsize Legacy 600.

About the Legacy 450 executive jet

The mid-light Legacy 450 sets a new paradigm in its respective executive jet category. Its interior was designed in partnership with BMW Group DesignworksUSA and offers unequaled comfort and style. This aircraft will have the largest and quietest cabin in its class. A flat-floor standup (6-foot) cabin, excellent pressurization and vacuum lavatories are other highlights of the Legacy 450, complementing its superior performance and low operating costs.

The Legacy 450 is designed to carry up to nine passengers. Its range will be 2,300 nautical miles (4,260 km) with four passengers, or 2,200 nautical miles (4,070 km) with eight passengers, and Mach 0.78, both including NBAA IFR fuel reserves, meaning the jet will be able to fly nonstop from London (U.K.) to Moscow (Russia) or Rabat (Morocco); from Delhi (India) to Dubai (United Arab Emirates) or Hong Kong; or from Jakarta (Indonesia) to Calcutta (India).
