Since last year, the company has more than doubled yearly major Hawker inspections.

ORLANDO, Fla., Oct. 30, 2012 -- Since launching a marketing campaign promoting its status as the only independent factory authorized service center east of the Rocky Mountains, Quad City International Airport (MLI)-based Elliott Aviation has quickly gained attention—and more business—from Hawker owners in the Eastern U.S.

Elliott Aviation has sold and serviced Beechcraft since 1947 and sees over 80 Hawker aircraft each year. Last year, the company launched a campaign aimed at expanding its Hawker business and since that time has more than doubled yearly major Hawker inspections.

“The fact that we are the only independent this side of Boise has really struck a chord with Hawker owners, many of whom weren’t aware of our reputation for providing the highest quality maintenance services and minimal downtimes,” said Mike Saathoff, Director of Maintenance Sales, Elliott Aviation. “We look forward to introducing these owners to our complete range of services and making Elliott Aviation their preferred partner.”

In addition to aircraft maintenance, Elliott Aviation operates one of the industry’s most advanced aftermarket paint facilities, and offers interior design and refurbishment, avionics services, accessory repair and overhaul, aircraft sales, charter and aircraft management.

Founded by Herb and Arlene Elliott in 1936, Elliott Aviation today operates three facilities in the Midwestern United States: Quad City International Airport (MLI) in Moline, Ill., Des Moines International Airport (DSM) in Des Moines, Iowa, and Flying Cloud Regional Airport (FCM) in Minneapolis.

Elliott Aviation is a full-service business aviation center offering a complete menu of high quality products and services including aircraft sales, avionics service & installations, aircraft maintenance, accessory repair & overhaul, paint and interior, charter and aircraft management. Serving the business aviation industry nationally and internationally, they have facilities in Moline, IL, Des Moines, IA, and Minneapolis, MN. The company is a member of the Pinnacle Air Network, National Business Aviation Association (NBAA), National Air Transportation Association (NATA), and National Aircraft Resale Association (NARA), and has been selling and servicing business aircraft since 1936.
