LINCOLN, NEB.  — Duncan Aviation recently released a timelapse video showcasing the company’s new paint facility in Lincoln, Nebraska, as Duncan Aviation paint experts perform complete paint services on a Gulfstream GV. The GV is the first ultra long-range business jet painted in the new facility, a 45,000-square-foot, $11.5 million facility, which opened in May.

A small fleet of cameras mounted in the paint bays captured the timelapse video of the GV’s transformation, highlighting the size of the new facility and the number of technicians involved during the paint process. The video demonstrates the beautiful product that can result from expert paint application along with the unique features of the paint facility. These features include multiple bays and curtains to accommodate multiple aircraft at once, a two-zone airflow system and down-draft airflow technology during paint application, and a clean and safe environment.

Duncan Aviation now has two facilities, Lincoln and its Battle Creek, Michigan, location, with the ability to paint some of the largest business aircraft in use today, including Gulfstream’s 650, Bombardier’s Global Express, Dassault’s Falcon 7X and Embraer’s Legacy. Earlier this month, Duncan Aviation-Lincoln also performed complete paint services for an Embraer Legacy and has offered schedules for two Bombardier Globals for input later this year.
