Coppell, TX, October 7, 2012 — Representatives of Superior Air Parts, Inc., have announced that Glen Golden has joined the company as its Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

“Superior Air Parts has made significant strides in returning to prominence in the piston engine aftermarket parts and the owner-built experimental engine markets,” Timothy T. Archer, Group CEO of Superior Air Parts parent, Superior Aviation Beijing, CO. Ltd., said. “As our new VP of Sales and Marketing, Glen will be charged with, not only continuing that positive momentum, but also to work with our engineering group, key distributors and customers to explore new programs.”

“As private and business aviation continues to be constrained by the economy and rising fuel costs, you really have to be savvy with your pricing and programs to stay ahead,” Archer said. “Having operated his own consulting firm specializing in the sales and marketing of STC’d (Supplemental Type Certificate) and PMA’d (Parts Manufacturer Approval) aftermarket aircraft and engine parts, Glen’s experience is the perfect match for the challenges that Superior and its distributors and engine shop customers are facing in today’s market.”

“It’s very exciting to be part of the Superior team. I’ve spent a good part of my career working for companies that were trying to emulate the high levels of quality, performance and value that Superior delivered,” Golden said. “Products like the Millennium Cylindersâ and the XP-Series Enginesâ were always the ones we had to beat.”

“Now that I’m part of the team, I’m very happy to see that nothing has changed,” he added. “The products we are shipping today are equal to anything Superior delivered in the past. It’s my goal to help build on Superior’s unparalleled reputation and further widen its competitive advantages.

Before joining Superior Air Parts, Golden owned Enhanced Aircraft Systems, which specialized in sales and marketing programs for companies developing STCs and PMAs. Prior to that, he was president of Engine Components, Inc. (ECI). From 1988 to 2006, Golden held various management positions with Aerospace Products International (API).
