Grant Boast Appointed Regional Sales Manager for BBA Aviation ERO

Coverage for Sub-Saharan Africa

Dallas, Texas…October 2, 2012… Grant Boast has been appointed Regional Sales Manager for BBA Aviation Engine Repair and Overhaul (ERO) and will provide sales coverage for Sub-Saharan Africa where he has worked as a Field Service Engineer with ERO for the past three years.

“Grant has a very strong technical background, something that is very important in Sub-Saharan Africa,” stated Lee Holloway, ERO Territorial Director for Middle East, Africa, India. “He is well known and respected by the customer base in the region.”

Boast has 17 years experience in the aviation maintenance industry. Prior to joining BBA Aviation in 2009 he was regional sales manager for Pratt & Whitney Canada Africa where he served as primary customer contact for engine services. He has also worked for Norse Air, Charlan Air and Execujet Maintenance. At Norse Air he was hired as a Maintenance Engineer and was promoted to Chief Engineer. He holds current maintenance licenses on most of the general aviation and regional airline engines used in the region including PT6, JT15D, TFE731, Spey, and CT7.

Boast will base out of Lanseria Airport in South Africa where he will support the sub-Saharan territory.
