Joint venture agreement to manage General Aviation Terminals (GAT) at up to 13 Airports in Indonesia.

ExecuJet Aviation Group and P.T. Dimitri Utama Abadi announced today their signing of a joint venture agreement to manage General Aviation Terminals (GAT) at up to 13 Airports in Indonesia. P.T. Dimitri Utama Abadi is a new private company, formed to serve as the Indonesian partner for the joint venture P.T. ExecuJet Indonesia.

The agreement was signed by ExecuJet Asia’s Managing Director Graeme Duckworth and P.T. Dimitri Utama Abadi’s CEO Soetikno Soedarjo. The joint venture follows the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation between ExecuJet and Angkasa Pura 1 in May 2012, to design, construct and manage the GATs.

“The signing of this joint venture agreement is the next step in ExecuJet establishing operations in Indonesia, which we view as an important strategic location for ExecuJet’s South East Asia expansion,” says Duckworth. “P.T ExecuJet Indonesia will manage the GA Terminals in East Indonesia to the same standards and service levels delivered at our 16 other FBOs around the world. Partnering with Soedarjo, a successful and well-respected entrepreneur in Indonesia, positions the joint venture for many more opportunities in the near future, some of which are already under review.”

“I am pleased that we have partnered with a prestigious company such as ExecuJet and look forward to expanding our presence beyond the GA Terminal business, in line with what ExecuJet has achieved in many other parts of the world,” comments Soedarjo.

“I believe that with ExecuJet’s professional reputation, know-how and high standards, the entire business aviation community in Indonesia will grow to match the aviation industries in more developed countries, and we sincerely look forward to being part of this expansion,” Soedarjo adds.
