FlightSafety Promotes Fabio Miguez to Manager, Columbus Learning Center

LA GUARDIA AIRPORT, New York (September 20, 2012) – FlightSafety International announces that Fabio Miguez has been promoted to Manager of the company’s Learning Center in Columbus, Ohio. He replaces Chip White who has been appointed Manager of FlightSafety’s Learning Center in Savannah, Georgia.

“Fabio has made a significant contribution at each of the FlightSafety Centers he has worked at, and we look forward to him serving as Manager of the Columbus Center,” said Greg McGowan, Senior Vice President, Operations.

Fabio joined FlightSafety at the Teterboro Center in 2004 and held a number of positions of increasing responsibility at the Center including Avionics Instructor, Program Manager, and Director of Programs for Dassault Falcon Jet training. He was then promoted to Assistant Manager of the Columbus Center and most recently served as Manager of FlightSafety’s Detroit Metro/Toledo Learning Center.

He holds a Bachelor of Aerospace Engineering from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University and has over 2,000 hours of flight experience in helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft. Fabio was a Lead Programmer at FlightFactory Simulations prior to joining FlightSafety.

The highly experienced, safety-centered team in Columbus provides training for pilots, maintenance technicians and flight attendants who operate aircraft manufactured by Bombardier, Cessna, Dassault and Gulfstream and Hawker Beechcraft. It offers simulators for the Cessna Citation Excel, Citation X, Citation XLS, Citation Sovereign, Dassault Falcon 2000, Gulfstream G200, Hawker 900XP and Bombardier Global Vision 5000/6000.
