ExecuJet Africa Signs Authorised Service Centre Agreement with Saab

ExecuJet Africa’s maintenance division has signed a Saab 340 Aircraft Service Center Agreement with defence and security company Saab AB.

Kent Lindgren, Customer Service Director, Air Division, Business Area Support and Services, Saab, Sweden, stated “We recognise the growing need in Africa for commuter aircraft and believe the Saab 340 is ideally suited to this environment. It is a robust, reliable and easy to operate aircraft and as such does not require a huge support footprint. Having a maintenance base in Africa will certainly support our marketing efforts of this product.”

“We are proud to be appointed by Saab as an Authorised Service Centre and are looking forward to working with Saab in supporting the existing fleet in the region. This will also help grow the Saab brand into the rest of Africa” says Steve Bothma, Maintenance Director at ExecuJet Africa. ExecuJet Africa already utilise the Saab 340B for Charter flights into the region and it is proving to be a very reliable Charter aircraft for larger groups of up to 30 people.
