Boingo Wireless Terminates Ongoing Contracts with AWG

Beginning Sept. 1, Boingo Wireless subscribers will no longer be able to utilize their Boingo account credentials to access the Internet at any of AWG’s 15 U.S. airport venues including LA, San Francisco, Miami and Boston.

Advanced Wireless Group, LLC (AWG), the leader in design, integration, and operation of complimentary public wireless networks in U.S. airports, announced today that it has been notified by Boingo Wireless (Boingo) that Boingo will terminate their ongoing network roaming contract and related advertising contract with AWG, effective immediately.

Beginning September 1, Boingo Wireless subscribers will no longer be able to utilize their Boingo account credentials to access the Internet at any of AWG’s 15 U.S. airport venues including Los Angeles, San Francisco, Miami and Boston.

Boingo customers can receive complimentary access at the majority of AWG’s venues or choose from a variety of other connection options. AWG also supports multiple roaming partners under their neutral host, open and equal access policy. Other roaming partners can be viewed on the connection page at each venue or at http://www.awgwifi.com.

AWG’s current list of venues includes: Atlanta-Hartsfield (ATL), Baltimore-Washington (BWI), Boston-Logan (BOS), Buffalo (BUF), Burbank (BUR), Indianapolis (IND), Los Angeles (LAX), Miami International (MIA), Minneapolis (MSP)*, Oakland (OAK), Omaha (OMA), Providence (PVD), San Diego (SAN)*, San Francisco (SFO), Sacramento (SMF) and The Prudential Center (Boston).
