AeroWorx Names Ken Channel as Vice President of Business Development

Torrance, California, September 13, 2012 – AeroWorx, the aviation industry’s leading provider for repair and overhaul services, announced today that Ken Channel has been named as their new Vice President of Business Development.

Ken’s new position is to oversee the Sales and Marketing efforts at AeroWorx. Mr. Channel will work closely with the Sales Manager to seek out new business developments. Additionally, he will be responsible for supervising the company’s customer service department.

“We are pleased to introduce Mr. Channel as our new Vice President of Business Development,” says AeroWorx President, Gary Furlong. “His past experience in Maintenance, Engineering and Marketing will prove to be a valuable advantage in his pursuit of new business relations. In 2008, Mr. Channel worked for Aero Pneudraulics as the Vice President of Sales and marketing, so we are very pleased to have him to return to our company under the new name and with his new Title. ”

Ken’s previous experience in the aviation industry started in the eighties when he served as a Base Maintenance Engineer at Continental Airlines. He then worked at Douglas Aircraft Company as a Senior Engineer, where he provided support on the DC10 and MD-11 aircraft.  When Douglas was bought out by Boeing, his position changed too. He then became the Production Manager where he was responsible for managing and tracking status on jobs and maintaining an efficient production and operation of aircraft repairs and manufacturering.  In his most recent position, Mr. Channel was the Director of Sales at North American Aircraft Services.
