Orlando … ASIG®, an industry leader in aviation services, announced today that ASIG has renewed its agreement to provide United Continental with aircraft refueling services at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). This is one of United Continental’s busiest hubs with 195 daily flights. The contract was first awarded to ASIG in 2007. In a separate agreement, ASIG was awarded refueling services at Detroit Metropolitan Airport (DTW). Both contracts cover mainline and express flights.
Commenting on the contracts, Tim Ramsey, Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing, said, “We are very happy about both agreements. Being entrusted to continue providing service at a location as important as LAX, while simultaneously adding DTW, is a great compliment. We provide United Continental with aviation fuel services at numerous locations across the U.S. and look forward to providing them with continued high quality services”.
