Pattonair, the leading global aerospace and defence supply chain service provider, is delighted to announce that it has signed a Long Term Agreement contract with Aero Engine Controls (AEC), the Birmingham-based manufacturer of engine control systems. Under the terms of the contract, worth £8m per year, Pattonair will be providing solutions for kits, DLF and schedule requirements direct to AEC’s production line.

With extensive, international experience of both kitting and line feed - just two of the company’s range of supply chain services - Pattonair is able to configure every aspect of their delivery, including the integration of kitting within line feed solutions where required.

All Pattonair kits are fully traceable and can be built at any of the company’s global facilities or at a customer’s site. Dedicated to delivering improved performance through more effective supply chain management, Pattonair can offer customers the benefits of its global reach while working to meet their individual needs with local, hands-on support.

Wayne Hollinshead, Pattonair’s CEO, commented:

“Having been selected for this contract on the basis of our supply chain expertise and our ability to deliver lean supply solutions, this is a particularly gratifying win for us. The whole team is looking forward to proving that AEC made the right decision.”
