Wencor Acquires AmSafe Aftermarket Spares and Services from TransDigm

The Aftermarket Spares and Services group focuses on the distribution of a broad product offering, including filters, lighting, battery products, nets, communications and safety equipment, and additional FAA PMA consumable parts.

SPRINGVILLE, UT – August 16, 2012 – Today Wencor, LLC announced that it has acquired the AmSafe Aftermarket Spares and Services business from TransDigm Group Incorporated (NYSE: TDG). The Aftermarket Spares and Services group focuses on the distribution of a broad product offering, including filters, lighting, battery products, nets, communications and safety equipment, and additional FAA PMA consumable parts. Wencor is a leading distributor of aftermarket parts and services to the commercial aircraft sector.
