IRKUT Selects Mxi Technologies’ Maintenix Software for MS-21 After-Sales Support Program

IRKUT has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for the provision of Maintenix in support of the organization's single-aisle MS-21 aircraft after-sales support program.

Ottawa, Canada (August 2, 2012) – Mxi® Technologies, the leader in aviation maintenance management software, announced today that IRKUT, one of Russia’s leading aircraft manufacturers, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for the provision of Maintenix® in support of the organization’s single-aisle MS-21 aircraft after-sales support program. Beginning with the MS-21 fleet, this agreement will help to define future after-market support offerings from the burgeoning aerospace company.

As the selected maintenance software provider for IRKUT’s MS-21 Operator’s Fleet Total Technical Support program, Mxi Technologies has been tasked with the implementation, field training, and knowledge transfer related to the Maintenix software in support of both Russian and international operators of the MS-21. 

The selection of Mxi’s Maintenix software for IRKUT’s after-sales support program marks another milestone for the organization’s national program for the design, development and manufacturing of the new MS-21 family of aircraft.
