AirLiance Materials Becomes Supplier and Distributor of Surplus Engine Materials For LTAI

AirLiance to Both Procure Parts for MRO Efforts and Re-distribute Excess Engine Materials on all CFM, IAE and Pratt & Whitney Engine Models Handled

Chicago, IL, August 1, 2012 … AirLiance Materials announced today that the company has signed a long term agreement with Lufthansa Technik Airmotive Ireland (LTAI) to assume responsibility for the supply of surplus material supporting LTAI’s engine MRO requirements as well as the marketing and sale of surplus parts, components and modules from LTAI’s maintenance, repair & overhaul activities and associated inventories.

LTAI currently supports the CFM56 engine type in its -2, -3 and -7B variants, the International Aero Engines V2500 type, and Pratt & Whitney engine types JT9D-7/7J and JT9D-7Q/59A/70A.

Specifically, AirLiance Material’s responsibilities include surplus material supply and sourcing, the marketing and sale of surplus material, coordination and implementation of required electronic data interfaces between LTAI and AirLiance, repair management of LTAI material as required, quality documentation review and assessment for viability, and assuring applicable export compliance.
