H2 TITAN® Purchased By Castec Inc., Scheduled To Be Installed In October

CHERRY VALLEY, IL – Based out of Saitama, Japan, Castec Inc.’s overseas facility in Indianapolis, Ind. has recently purchased a 2 bar H2 TITAN® with a graphite hot zone and turn-key installation. This particular furnace has a work zone size of 18” x 18” X 24” (455 mm x 455 mm x 610 mm) and a hearth gross load weight capacity of 2,000 pounds. Equipped with a mechanical pump and a blower vacuum system, the furnace is configured for 460 volts, 60 hertz, 3 phase. The unit is scheduled for install in a short 12 weeks by Ipsen’s team of qualified Field Service Engineers. 

The versatile TITAN vacuum furnace, which can be delivered anywhere in the world within 10 weeks, operates in any language and meets global standards. TITAN also allows for a variety of standard processes (including, but not limited to, tempering, annealing, hardening and brazing) and operates 30 percent more energy efficient than comparable models. It’s available in horizontal and vertical models up to 10,000 lbs (4,500 kg) capacity. The TITAN offers a wide range of sizes, speed and uniformity, equipped with a Vacu-Prof® control system to provide enhanced quality, repeatable results and improved operational safety.
