Pattonair secures major new deal with Airbus
Pattonair, the leading global aerospace and defence supply chain service provider, is delighted to announce the signing of a major new contract to supply a range of nuts across all Airbus platforms.
This is a significant new development for Pattonair, building on the company’s 25 year relationship with Airbus. Under the terms of the seven figure, five year contract, Pattonair will be supplying all Airbus facilities in Europe as well as its EADS sister companies and key sub-contractors.
Reflecting Pattonair’s sourcing ability and supplier management expertise, the company will be working with a leading nut manufacturer who have designed a product which delivers a significant weight-saving thereby reducing fuel consumption and enhancing the green credentials of the latest generation of Airbus aircraft.
“This is a particularly gratifying win for Pattonair as it expands the scope of our relationship with Airbus” commented Wayne Hollinshead, Pattonair’s CEO. “Through a process of vendor-managed inventory and the implementation of a rolling schedule, we will be bringing real added value to the Airbus supply chain.”
