Jet Aviation St. Louis has enhanced its mobile maintenance capability with the recent addition of three customized service vehicles.

St. Louis, Mo. / July 19, 2012 – Jet Aviation St. Louis has enhanced its mobile maintenance capability with the recent addition of three customized service vehicles. The vehicles are staffed by technicians from St. Louis and will be dispatched as needed to support customers.

With the addition of the latest vehicles, Jet Aviation now has five trucks available in the U.S. to deploy to assist customers; three in St. Louis and one each in Teterboro and Boston/Bedford. The trucks provide on-site maintenance services for AOG situations including non-destructive testing and engine and avionics troubleshooting.

“We have been providing this mobile maintenance service to customers for years,” notes Chuck Krugh, senior vice president, Jet Aviation St. Louis. “Because operators have found this support so beneficial we wanted to further enhance the service by adding customized trucks that are fully equipped to perform in-field diagnostics, testing and maintenance upon customer request. It’s the same exceptional quality of service that customers get when they are in our service centers, simply packaged ‘to go.’”

Jet Aviation also provides on-site non-destructive testing including ultrasonic, eddy current, bond testing and magnetic particle. X-ray inspections can be performed after obtaining required permits and permissions from the state in which the inspections will be performed. Operators should call the Jet Aviation 24/7 Jet Response Team at 1-877-JET-HELP (1-877-538-4357) or their regional sales manager for more information.
