Oman Air selects Hamilton Sundstrand as the maintenance provider for the APS2300 Auxiliary Power Unit

WINDSOR LOCKS, Conn., July 16, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Oman Air has selected Hamilton Sundstrand Corporation for a long-term agreement to be the maintenance provider for the APS2300 Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) on its existing fleet of five Embraer 175 series aircraft.  Hamilton Sundstrand is a subsidiary of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE: UTX). 

The APS2300 APU is currently on board more than 800 Embraer 170/190 aircraft around the world and is operated by more than 70 customers since its introduction into service in 2004.
