Bruce's Custom Covers Donates Auction Items To Support EAA Young Eagles Program

SUNNYVALE, CALIFORNIA, JULY 12, 2012 – Bruce’s Custom Covers announced today their donation of auction items in support of the Experimental Aircraft Association’s (EAA) Young Eagles program. Bruce’s Custom Covers will provide two custom fitted aircraft covers in support of Young Eagles in conjunction with the forthcoming Gathering of Eagles event. EAA’s Gathering of Eagles is an annual event held during AirVenture Oshkosh. In 2012, the 27th Gathering of Eagles event will include a series of fundraising auctions with proceeds supporting EAA Young Eagles (www.youngeagles.org). Young Eagles is a program designed to inspire young aviators to take part in aviation and to encourage their involvement in the fascinating world of flying.

In each of two auctions, the high bidder will receive an aircraft covering system from Bruce’s, custom fitted to their aircraft. The cover will include a logo and/or tail number imprint plus a duffle bag for storage. Each custom cover package is valued up to $550.00.

The first auction will take place online and is open to all EAA members and patrons of the aviation community. Bidders will be supporting EAA Young Eagles with their contribution. Second, a silent auction will take place on the evening of Thursday, July 26th in the Eagle Hangar at Wittman Regional Airport in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, starting at 5:30 p.m. Participants and bidders at this Gathering of Eagles event will be supporting the Young Eagles program.
