Copa Airlines Signs GE OnPoint Solution Agreement on CFM56 Engines

Copa Airlines has signed a 15-year OnPoint solution agreement with GE Aviation for the maintenance, repair and overhaul of 112 CFM56-7B engines valued at more than $340 million (USD) over the life of the agreement.

FARNBOROUGH AIR SHOW - July 11, 2012 - Copa Airlines has signed a 15-year OnPointSM solution agreement with GE Aviation for the maintenance, repair and overhaul of 112 CFM56-7B engines that power its Boeing 737-700 and -800 Next Gen aircraft. The OnPoint agreement is valued at more than $340 million (USD) over the life of the agreement.

"With this agreement and the CF34 OnPoint solution agreement signed last year, Copa Airlines has put its trust in GE Aviation as its service provider for its entire engine fleet," said Doug Izarra, senior executive for Americas Sales at GE Aviation.
