StandardAero Selected as MRO Engine Service Provider for Brit Air’s Fleet of New Regional Jets Exclusive Service Agreement Signed for CF34-8C work on CRJ1000s
TEMPE, Ariz. – July 11, 2012 – StandardAero has signed an exclusive long-term service agreement with Brit Air to maintain their CF34-8C5A1 engines on their current and future fleet of Bombardier CRJ1000 regional jets, as well as their CF34-8C5B1 engines on a selected number of their Bombardier CRJ700s. Brit Air, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Air France, is one of the largest European CRJ operators and were the launch customer for the Bombardier CRJ1000.

StandardAero has been a long-time partner in the maintenance, repair and overhaul of the GE CF34™ engine, last month announcing the delivery of its 1000th engine; a CF34-3 engine for Brit Air.
The maintenance will be performed out of the 162,000 sq. ft facility in Winnipeg, Canada which supports the CF34 engine and the larger CFM56-7B engine used on Boeing’s fleet of 737 Next Generation aircraft.
