The OAG Cargo Roadshow Lands in Prague

July 10, 2012
OAG Cargo will be in Prague on July 11th for the latest in their series of Global Roadshows.

After highly successful events in Chicago, Dusseldorf, Heathrow and Miami, OAG Cargo will be in Prague on 11th July for the latest in their series of Global Roadshows.

Specialists in the supply of data and information products for the global aviation industry, OAG Cargo are inviting local  airlines, GSA’s and forwarders to come along to one of two sessions and learn more about a range of innovative solutions that can help them drive efficiency, reduce costs and increase revenues.

Central and eastern Europe is an increasingly important region for the cargo industry.  OAG Cargo recently loaded BA World Cargo rates for the Czech Republic into their Air Freight Rate Application (AFRA) system - and Prague is at the forefront of this development both economically and politically. Hence the significance of this Roadshow which will be hosted by OAG Cargo’s Nico Le Roux, EMEA Sales Director and Steve Cobb of Daedalus Sales & Marketing Consultants, representing OAG Cargo in central and eastern Europe

Based on years of experience, the company has developed its services in response to the fact that the daily exchange of operational and commercial information within local cargo communities is often lacking in structure. Airlines and their sales agents can have difficulty reaching all potential customers in their market, while freight forwarders can be overloaded with information from different sources in different formats, delivered via different channels.

Designed to show how OAG Cargo’s products can streamline the airfreight management process by enhancing visibility via a single, common platform, by automating and optimising international rate management and distribution processes and by facilitating collaboration across the supply chain, the Roadshow sessions will be informal, informative and interactive. Free to attend, they will be of particular benefit to local export managers, country managers, station managers and operational staff and will also offer a valuable opportunity for networking with industry peers.

Both the morning session (10:00 – 12:00) for airlines and GSAs, and the afternoon session (14:00 – 16:00) for freight forwarders, will be held at Prague Airport Congress Hall
Letište Praha, a.s., K Letišti 6/1019, 160 08 Praha 6.
