JFI JetCenter in Long Beach Earns 2012 Pilots' Choice Awards

LONG BEACH, CA June 25, 2012 – The JFI JetCenter at California's Long Beach Airport (LGB) has been recognized by FltPlan.com as a 2012 Pilots' Choice Awards winner in three categories.

The JFI JetCenter (www.jfijets.com) was recognized as one of the top 5 southwest US FBOs, the only California FBO in that ranking.  The JetCenter also was voted the 27th best FBO in the country out of 50 in the category, and 4th in the top 25 STAR FBO category based on airport arrival data, airport traffic and competition on the field.

"We are particularly proud of our FBO Division for earning these awards especially with the strong competition we face from Signature Flight Support and AirFlite that are also located at the Long Beach Airport," said Bill Cripe, chief executive officer of JFI Jets.

Pilot Steve Kass said, "All the standard things pilots care about are thought out at this FBO.  A lineman brought us up close to minimize our walk. They had water and coffee. There was a nice pre-flight room, good Unicom handling procedures, smiling faces, and no price gouging."  

The JFI JetCenter is a U.S. National Air Transportation Association (NATA) Safety 1st trained facility and will be recognized by NATA at the 2012 National Business Aviation Association Annual Meeting and Convention October 30 thru November 1 in Orlando.
