FlightSafety International Promotes Steve Gross to Vice President of Sales

He will report to Eric Hinson, Executive Vice President, and assume responsibility for FlightSafety’s business aviation and regional airline training sales activities around the world.

LA GUARDIA AIRPORT, New York (June 22, 2012) – FlightSafety International is pleased to announce that Steve Gross has been promoted to Vice President, Sales. In his new role, Steve will report to Eric Hinson, Executive Vice President, and assume responsibility for FlightSafety’s business aviation and regional airline training sales activities around the world.

Scott Fera, Vice President, Marketing, will continue to lead the company’s marketing and maintenance training business development efforts, and focus on securing new business from select companies and organizations.

Steve has been a valued member of the FlightSafety team since 1996. He held a number of positions with increasing responsibility since then, including Regional Marketing Manager for the northeastern United States and Regional Marketing Director. He most recently served as Director, Worldwide Sales.

He graduated from Embry-Riddle University in 1980 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Aviation Administration and holds a Commercial Pilot license with an instrument rating. Steve held several technical support and sales positions with British Aerospace prior to joining FlightSafety.
