Corporate Service Supply and Manufacturing, an FAA and EASA approved accessory repair facility, opened for business in its new facility on June 1. The new facility is located in Ronkonkoma, NY, just outside the main entrance of Long Island MacArthur Airport (ISP).
CSSM had been supplying services to the corporate, commercial and military industries in its last location, since the company opened in 1976. The new facility is larger at 9200sq feet and allows the company to grow its business, increase its capabilities and look for additional business opportunities in the future. The new facility was carefully designed by the CSSM staff and built accordingly to minimize inefficiencies and maximize the labor potential.
In addition to moving to the new facility CSSM also invested in new tooling and equipment and named Walter Kuhn as new Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Kuhn is a former employee of 18 years and worked at both APC and Circor Aerospace where he held the position of production supervisor before rejoining CSSM in his new capacity. A graduate of the Pittsburgh Institute of Technology were he received his A&P he brings a strong knowledge of the accessory repair business and a commitment to exceptional customer service.
