Andover, Kan. Sherwin-Williams Aerospace introduces a new high performance, two-component, High Solids Corrosion Inhibitive Epoxy Primer (CM0483987). It is simple to apply, flows out to a smooth surface and provides excellent corrosion protection.
Ideal for large aircraft applications, it ‘lays down nicely’ and contributes to a fine, overall basecoat-clearcoat finish. It provides excellent adhesion to treated substrates and meets VOC regulations that require a 2.9 lb/gal (350 g/L) VOC primer.
Some of the other advantages of the new High Solids Corrosion Inhibitive Epoxy Primer include:
- Externally tested to meet AMS 3095 specification
- Provides excellent substrate opacity
- High square coverage per gallon
- Contains less than 2.9 lbs. of VOC per mixed gallon or 350 grams per liter
