A J Walter Aviation signs power-by-the-hour and spares lease agreement with Avion Express

A J Walter Aviation has been chosen by Avion Express to provide full PBH support service to its current fleet of A320 aircraft.

London, 12th June 2012:A J Walter Aviation has been chosen by Lithuanian airline, Avion Express, to provide full PBH support service to its current fleet of three A320 aircraft, growing to five aircraft later this year. The contract also includes a lease for the provision of a local main base kit and represents an important breakthrough for AJW in the Baltic States.

The airline, which operates mainly in Europe, was established in 2005 under the name Nordic Solutions Air Services, before later rebranding as Avion Express in 2008. The airline focuses on charter and cargo operations and is based in Vilnius, Lithuania. It has enjoyed considerable expansion and since 2010 it has also focused on becoming a wet lease specialist.

AJW has enjoyed a good deal of success across Europe in recent years with a support portfolio in excess of $75m annually.
