AAR Named Outstanding Component Repair Provider by NATO

Amsterdam division distinguished for outstanding performance and variety of complex repairs

WOOD DALE, Illinois, June 8, 2012 — AAR (NYSE: AIR) has been named “Outstanding Source of Repair” by the NATO Maintenance and Supply Agency (NAMSA) and the International Aerospace Management Company (IAMCO). AAR was also recently ranked as Parts Supplier of the Year, one of the top five providers of aircraft Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) in the world and the Best MRO in the Americas in independent surveys of customers and industry professionals.

AAR’s Aircraft Component Services division in Amsterdam earned the recognition for its performance in three key areas: on-time delivery; quality of service; and contract administration. In addition, NAMSA and IAMCO, which manage maintenance work and services for NATO, cited AAR for its complexity, variety and high number of repairs. AAR was previously recognized as Outstanding Source of Repair in 2006.
