“This certification demonstrates our commitment to meet or exceed the increasingly stringent industry requirements as a world-class supplier,” said President of Summit Aviation Robert Fitzpatrick.  “This certification standardizes our quality processes across many of our programs to ensure continued process and service safety, reliability and quality.”

AS9100 addresses the diversity and complexity of the industry’s supply chain and takes into consideration the complete life cycle of aerospace products.  Summit’s Delaware facility has been certified to the AS9100B standard since 2007, and the Kentucky facility received initial certification in 2010.
