Tyrolean Airways and Lufthansa Technik AERO Alzey (LTAA) have signed a multi-year Spare Engine Pool Agreement to support Tyrolean's fleet of 14ea. Bombardier Dash8-Q400 aircraft. As per the terms of the agreement, LTAA will provide PW150A spare engines for planned and unplanned engine removals. LTAA's pooling concept also includes the management of Tyrolean's spare engines.

LTAA, member of Lufthansa Technik Group, is specialized in the maintenance of engines for regional aircraft. The portfolio includes maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services for the General Electric CF34-1, 3, -8 and -10 engines, the Pratt & Whitney Canada PW100 series engines, PW150 engines and the auxiliary power unit (APU) PW901A and PW901C.
In addition to the MRO services, LTAA provides short or long-term lease engine support for all PW100 and CF34 series. LTAA's Spare Engine Pooling is available for the PW127 series, the PW150A and the CF34-10E engines.
