Kevin Bang Joins Dallas Airmotive As Manager of Phoenix Regional Turbine Center

Dallas, Texas…May 21, 2012… Kevin Bang has joined Dallas Airmotive, a BBA Aviation Engine Repair and Overhaul Group (ERO) company, as manager of its Phoenix Regional Turbine Center (RTC). Bang will be responsible for day-to-day operations at the RTC which focuses on PT6A, JT15D, M250™ repair services and, with its recent appointment, the HTF7000.

“Kevin has a long history of managing teams of maintenance people through his two decades of service with the U.S. Navy and afterwards with civil maintenance organizations,” stated Dallas Airmotive Vice President of Regional Operations & Service, Mike Cumnock. “He has the hands-on experience coupled with the management expertise needed to take our Phoenix team to ever greater levels of customer support.”

Bang holds an FAA Airframe and Powerplant license plus numerous engine and inspection certifications. “Kevin brings HTF7000 technical and quality expertise which will be especially useful as we have recently added a Honeywell Minor Level authorization at our Phoenix RTC,” commented Cumnock.

Bang comes to Dallas Airmotive from Consolidated Turbine Support (CTS) in Mesa, Arizona, where he was Quality Control Manager for 14 CFR Part 145 programs.  He holds degrees in Applied Management and Aviation Maintenance, and he is currently enrolled in a Masters of Science in Leadership program at Grand Canyon University.
