Moline, IL, May 21, 2012 - Elliott Aviation, a leader in a diverse set of business aviation services today announced the completion of their 50th Garmin G1000 King Air retrofit. As the number one G1000 retrofitter in the market, the completion positions Elliott as having as many G1000 retrofits as all other dealers worldwide, combined.

Elliott Aviation’s G1000 quality control process includes building all wiring harnesses and connectors in house, laser stamping the wiring, installing original factory wiring tags and removing all existing avionics wiring and connectors from nose to tail to allow for a maximum useful load for the customer. Elliott Aviation’s successes in the program have allowed them to streamline the program to offer a 15 day downtime guarantee, the shortest in the industry. Among the retrofits include two King Air 350s and one King Air 300. Elliott has a backlog of over 15 more currently scheduled.

“Because of our top-quality avionics team and the fact that the G1000 is such a great product, the Garmin G1000 retrofit has been incredibly successful for everyone here at Elliott Aviation,” said Rich Baeder, Vice President and General Manager of Elliott Aviation’s Moline, IL facility. “Garmin has been an outstanding partner to work with to help create one of the most successful avionics retrofit programs in recent history.”

“The G1000 has become a tremendously popular King Air upgrade because of its reliability, weight savings and the enhanced situational awareness that it brings to the aircraft. With 50 installations of experience, Elliott has proven their mastery of the G1000 upgrade, and we’re thankful for their partnership that has helped make this program such a success.” Added Jim Alpiser, Director Aviation after-market sales for Garmin.
