CLEAR Arrives in San Francisco Before Memorial Day

NEW YORK, May 17, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- CLEAR, the nation's pre-eminent biometric secure ID program, announced today it will launch its expedited traveler service at San Francisco International Airport (SFO) on May 23, just ahead of the Memorial Day weekend travel crush.

CLEARlanes will be located at every terminal at SFO, allowing every passenger on any airline to use their biometrics to speed through security.

San Francisco International is introducing CLEAR's biometric technology to enhance passengers' travel experience but it also means 85 new private sector jobs, enhanced security, and new revenue for the airport. CLEAR membership costs $179 for one year with unlimited use. Members can add their spouse or partner with the Family Plan for an additional $50. All children under 18 can use the CLEARlane free of charge, and with no enrollment necessary, when accompanied by an adult member.
