North Texas Business Aviation Association Joins Global Aerospace to Offer Latest Aviation Human Factors Seminar

Operational Human Factors – Fatigue and Professionalism” seminar will be held on June 7th, 2012 from 8:30 AM to 4 PM in Dallas, Texas.

Dallas, TX – North Texas Business Aviation Association (NTBAA) announced it has partnered with Global Aerospace to present an “Operational Human Factors – Fatigue and Professionalism” seminar on June 7th, 2012 from 8:30 AM to 4 PM in Dallas, Texas.

This is the third year NTBAA has teamed with Global Aerospace to present a one-day SM4 safety seminar. This event will focus on the latest approach to Human Factors for aviation and is designed for Chief Pilots, Directors of Aviation, Safety Officers, and senior management representatives. This program is pending certification for National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) Certified Aviation Manager (CAM) credit. Candidates for the NBAA credential may earn one point toward their CAM application or CAM renewal by attending this event.

Mr. Pat Daily, Managing Partner for Convergent Performance, LLC and industry expert, will be the presenter. In addition to teaching Cadets how to fly T-41s, Pat taught Aeronautical Engineering at the US Air Force Academy. In his civilian career, Pat has flown for American Airlines, Texas Air Aces, Aviation Safety Training (advanced maneuvering and upset recovery) and holds an ATP and a CFI. Prior to founding Convergent Performance, Pat was the Director of Honeywell's Defense and Space Electronics Systems at Johnson Space Center where he managed the steam to glass program for the Space Shuttle as well as Guidance, Navigation and Control Projects for the International Space Station and the Space Shuttle.  

The Operational Human Factors – Fatigue and Professionalism seminar will be held at the Marriott Las Colinas in Irving, Texas. NTBAA members may attend for $100 and the fee is $125 for non-members. Registration fees include an autographed copy (while they last) of the book, “Going Pro – The Deliberate Practice of Professionalism” by Dr. Tony Kern, CEO of Convergent Performance LLC. Seating is limited and fees will increase after May 15th so early registration is encouraged.
