Corporate Flight Management Selects Component Control to Manage Business Aviation MRO
Quantum will aid CFM with all MRO activity and process management including inventory management, work order tracking, technician time tracking, and more.
GENEVA, CH, May 14th, 2012 – Component Control announced today that Corporate Flight Management (CFM), a global aviation resource firm providing charter, aircraft management, maintenance, ground support, aircraft investment, aircraft sales and pilot training, has selected Quantum ControlTM to run its maintenance and repair operations. CFM’s growing business comprises over 35 aircraft and repair facilities at multiple locations serving both the private and commercial business aviation markets.
“We chose Quantum because of the product scalability, the seamless integration of StockMarket.aero, and the product’s reputation as the industry standard for MRO,” said Leon Custers, CFM President and Chief Operating Officer. “As our operations become more complex, Quantum’s versatility will support our needs and keep our operational data synchronized across the company at all times. We expect to see a significant increase in efficiency and a reduction in operational costs across the board.”
Initially, Quantum will aid CFM with all MRO activity and process management including inventory management, work order tracking, technician time tracking, and more. CFM will also leverage Quantum’s StockMarket module, an integrated supply chain tool that allows companies to automatically post real-time updates of selected inventory and capabilities to StockMarket.aero, the leading free online listing service for aviation parts and services. Added Custers, “StockMarket will allow us to move inventory more rapidly, increase parts availability to our customers, and save time and costs associated with manual data uploads.”
