May 2012 – Orleans, MA -- Conklin & de Decker has released the latest Aircraft Cost Evaluator for 2012, delivering the most up-to-date operating, benchmarking and ownership cost data available to the aviation industry. Aircraft Cost Evaluator is the most extensive operating cost database and is part of the family of aircraft operating and acquisition data products developed by Conklin & de Decker addressing more than 500 jets, turboprops, helicopters and piston aircraft.

The Aircraft Cost Evaluator (ACE) is the ideal benchmarking tool that assists aircraft owners, operators, brokers and dealers with important side-by-side operating cost and performance comparisons. ACE helps users make critical decisions on aircraft acquisitions whether they are downsizing to a smaller more economical asset or taking advantage of the market with a larger aircraft purchase or trade. ACE is referred to as the industry standard and is currently used by AMSTAT, The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Business Jet Traveler, Twin & Turbine, Executive & VIP Jets and World Aircraft Sales.

Now available with a subscription to ACE, users will get the latest ACE - On the Go!  tool at no additional cost. This new web interface allows subscribers to access information via any browser, including mobile devices.  No more lugging your laptop around with you or waiting until you get back to the office to access current aircraft cost data, range comparisons or charts and tables.  Using new ACE – On the Go! will allow subscribers to have access to cost information anytime, anywhere, without downloading and installing any software first.

The 2012 Aircraft Cost Evaluator Volume I release has added eight more aircraft, including the Airbus ACJ321, Dassault Falcon 2000S, Hawker 400XPr jets; the Blackhawk Caravan XP42A turboprop; the Eurocopter EC135P2e, EC135T2e, and EC332L1e helicopters; and the Cessna Corvalis TTx piston. In addition to the newly added aircraft and updated fuel costs, this version includes the ability to edit Fuel and Maintenance Labor costs per hour with ACE - On the Go! and a new Fuel & Maintenance cost per nautical mile chart.

ACE subscribers can save time and shipping costs by downloading the latest software from the Members Only section of the Conklin and de Decker website.

With ACE, users can quickly compare up to three aircraft side-by-side, edit nearly two dozen variables, change currencies, and change measurement units to customize reports allowing comparisons of local costs and salaries. A query function allows the user to narrow the selection to those that meet specific performance criteria. In addition, reports can easily be exported to Word, Excel and PDF with a click of a button.

“We continue to keep up with the latest changes to provide our customers with the current costs to operate an aircraft in today’s environment and no one wants to get caught with stale data,” commented Bill de Decker, President of Conklin & de Decker. “The markets are constantly changing and ACE is the benchmarking tool that gives owners and operators an impartial way to compare their aircraft operating costs with the industry standard as well as assist them with critical decisions on aircraft transactions,” added de Decker.

The price for the latest edition of Aircraft Cost Evaluator is $695 for Jets, $595 for Turboprops or Helicopters and $450 for the Piston database. Updated twice each year, the annual subscription includes the original CD plus one free update and access to ACE - On the Go!. Handbooks are available for an additional $100 each. Discounts for multiple databases run from $100 to $300. Customized reports for individual aircraft can be special ordered for $75 per aircraft with a 20% discount for multiple aircraft. In addition, multiple user licenses are available.
